A large bamboo, growing up to 30’ tall with 2” diameter canes, Hardy Snow Bamboo (Phyllostachys nuda) prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It's hardy, surviving to -20 degrees F temperatures. After 3 years, edible shoots may be harvested in spring, before they reach 12” tall. 10" pot.
