A large bamboo named for its sweet shoots in early spring, Sweetshoot Bamboo (Phyllostachys dulcis) grows to 30’ tall with 3” diameter canes. The masses of large drooping leaves, thick culms, and white ring at the node make this one of the most beautiful bamboos. Hardy to -10 degrees F. Harvest shoots after 3 years. 10" pot.
