A terrific container plant!
Dwarf Bamboo (Sasa pygmaea) is a low growing variety (12") that tolerates partial shade. This bamboo makes a wonderful ground cover and potted plant or serves as a lawn substitute. The small leaves are blue-green turning pale green in late autumn. Rampant growth can be expected so a root barrier is recommended.
