Makes a good dought tolerant ground cover!
Also known as carex flacca, Blue Sedge (Carex glauca 'Blue Zinger') is 6 – 12” tall with an overall blue appearance. This ornamental sedge flowers in late spring, likes full sun and dry conditions. This carex spreads by rhizomes to form a mat that is good for erosion control.
