Beautiful fal and winter foliage!
Northern Lights Tufted Hair Grass (Deschampsia caespitosa 'Northern Lights') a cultivar of the more common Tufted Hair Grass, has tufts of thin grassy foliage with gray and gold variegation. In early spring and fall, the foliage turns golden with pink-coral tips. Whispy plumes of tiny flowers emerge in early summer. Suited for partially shaded sites, this grass performs well in part sun. Prefers moist, well drained soil.
