Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium aka Andropogon scoparius) is a North American native evergreen grass that prefers full to partial sun, growing to between 18-48" in height when mature. Its fine gray-green foliage transforms in winter to shades of red and purple. Flowers emerge from July to September and are ideal for cutting. Tolerates dry soils.
