For a great addition to the landscape or container garden, Volga Fescue (Festuca violacea Schleich. ex Gaudin) offers a rich turquoise metallic blue foliage that grows to 10" high. This clumping variety of fescue produces a golden seed head. Volga Fescue prefers well drained to dry soil and full sun to part shade.
